a. Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile details for Shop Owners and Staff members.
  • Shop Data: Product names, inventory levels, sales records, and transaction history entered into the app.
  • Staff Details: Email addresses of staff members you invite to manage your shop.

b. specific Permissions

  • Notifications: We request permission to send you alerts regarding stock levels, daily summaries, or app updates.

c. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Customer PII: Loja does not collect or store personal data (such as phone numbers or addresses) of the end-customers who visit your shop.
  • Payment Information: Loja records transaction amounts for bookkeeping purposes only. We do not process financial payments, and we do not store credit card numbers or bank account details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Secure your account and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Provide and maintain the Loja app functionality.
  • Sync inventory and sales data between Shop Owners and authorized Staff.
  • Generate sales reports and inventory summaries.
  • Send low-stock alerts and important app updates via notifications.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following contexts:

a. Within Your Shop Team

  • Staff/Employees: If you invite staff to your shop, they will have access to the shop’s inventory and sales data based on the permissions you assign them.
  • Owners: If you are a staff member, the Shop Owner can view your activity within the app (e.g., sales recorded by you).

b. Service Providers & Infrastructure

  • We utilize secure database technologies and cloud infrastructure to host the service. While the application logic is managed by us, data is stored on secure servers designed to support the application’s performance.

c. Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Storage & Security

    • Hosting: Your data is stored on secure servers managed by the Loja team using industry-standard database technologies (Supabase).
    • Security: We employ encryption and standard security protocols to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    6. Data Retention

    We retain your shop and account information as long as your account is active. You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8).

    7. Children’s Privacy

    Loja is a business tool and is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

    8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

    Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data.

    Upon request, we will permanently delete:

    • Staff associations
    • Your User Account
    • Shop Inventory & Sales History
